What Ascent won't do
- Apply through LinkedIn or Indeed. Those sites don't allow automated applications, and using them that way can get your account banned. For roles there, Ascent prepares everything and gives you a link.
- Make up experience. It only uses what's in your profile.
- Answer questions about visas, legal status or demographics for you, unless you've told it how.
- Promise you a job or an interview. Nobody honestly can.

No. By default, every application waits for your approval.
Which job sites does it work with?
It finds roles on company career pages that use Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workable. For anything else, you can still use the resume and cover letter tools.
Why not LinkedIn or Indeed?
They don't allow automated applications, and breaking that rule can get your account restricted. We'd rather not put your account at risk.
Will this get me a job?
We can't promise that. Ascent saves you time on forms and writing. Interviews still depend on you, the role, and the market.
Is the writing done by AI?
Yes. Ascent uses AI to draft resumes and cover letters from what's in your profile. You review everything before you use it. Read it. It goes out in your name.
Is my data safe?
We don't sell your data. You can export or delete everything from Settings. Details are in the privacy policy.
